The Vk7 is constructed with TORAY T700 3K carbon fibre.
3K is the most common carbon fibre that you will find externally on a bicycle. It provides a comfortable ride while still allowing the bike to be light, stiff, responsive and strong enough to handle a powerful rider.
Headtube - The tapered design improves front-end stiffness and handling. It alos allows the frame to be more responsive.
Seat Stays - Elliptical in shape for greater comfort on those long days in the saddle, whilst still maintaining the responsiveness required.
Chainstays - To maximise stiffness the chainstays are extremely deep at the bottom bracket.
Bottom Bracket - The Bottom Bracket is all about power transfer.
The oversize down tube extends to the full width of the bottom bracket and results in a massive area that resists flexing and twisting under pedal loads.
Top Tube - The elegantly designed top tube flares out towards the head tube and results is stiffening up the front of the bike and improving the handling.
Internal rear brake cable routing, keeps lines clean.
